The AIIM Florida Chapter hosts multiple educational events and issues helpful communications throughout the year that I find insightful and extremely valuable for the information governance / information management community of practitioners, including AIIM members. As an AIIM Fellow, AIIM Ambassador, and an AIIM community member in Canada, I understand the importance of supporting the AIIM International community through local chapter initiatives and communities. It’s great to see another chapter working hard to keep our community of practice apprised of evolving trends and new technologies, along with methodologies and tools that can help AIIM members in their careers and do their jobs more effectively to move their companies into the future.

I try to attend webinars conducted by the AIIM Florida Chapter whenever I can.  Why? The quality of the speakers is outstanding and the relevance of the content to information management professionals is invaluable.  I have been in this business a long time and I always gain new insight with each webinar.  This is an excellent educational value for AIIM members. I urge anyone to check out the recorded sessions to get an idea of not only the quality of the information but the interactivity that is available to attendees on the platform. AIIM International has always been an important organization in my career for education and networking, and the AIIM Florida Chapter takes this concept to the next level with their wonderfully helpful webinars, events and other activities. Their group is amazingly engaging and has passion for their business, as well as a sincere desire to help others in their information management journey, no matter what stage from beginner to AIIM Fellow!

I have been attending as many open events as I could since I have been in the information management space. AIIM Florida Events are always welcoming, informative, and fun. I have learned so much from the variety of speakers they have had through the years. The chapter is celebrating its 35^th anniversary this year and I am so looking forward to the events they will host as a part of the celebration. I always come away from a session with new tools in my information management tool belt.
